THE COLLECTIVE SELF

THE COLLECTIVE SELF

your first and forever home

Before the mood boards, blueprints and lighting plans begin, we look first to the woman within. Her energy, how she might rest, what dictates her digestion, holds her breath, balances her hormones, fuels her emotions and pushes or pulls on her sensory tolerance.

At Collective we believe the self is truly your first home. Legs that carry you and a heart that, quite literally, propels you through life. It’s natural we look to the very essence of all that supports us, in and out, including the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe. The woman, the nervous system, the body, the rituals, the totality of who she is.

The modern Collective woman is more adept than ever at self-care: from treatments to supplements, routines and appointments; products and practices that make tall promises of better, younger, longer. Somewhere along the way, however, wellness itself became performative, another way to achieve. One more protocol, one more standard of perfection.

What if living well wasn't about becoming more, but becoming more attuned to who we already are?

THE COLLECTIVE SELF CALLS ON THREE QUESTIONS:

What am I asking of myself?

What am I giving back to myself?

What kind of woman am I allowing myself to become?

"We spend so much of our lives learning how to do more, be more, achieve more. I’m becoming increasingly interested in the opposite: understanding what I need, recognizing what feels right, and allowing myself to live accordingly. I don't think living well is about arriving at some perfected version of yourself. I think it's about developing a better relationship with the person you already are."

- SARAH GARVIN

We invite the Collective woman to remember - to call on her intrinsic discernment for the most merited of self-care, beginning with her one and only self.
